Chinese tourist arrivals fell 33% in the first seven months of the year, though arrivals from India and long-haul markets may provide some relief. However, international tourist receipts could fall by 5%, and hotels could face pricing pressures. Therefore, operators with international hotels are likely to be stronger than those relying on the Thai market.
