World economic turmoil, especially worsening economic conditions in the European Union (EU), continues to stifle global trade and shipments.

Tollway

Tollway traffic volumes increased in 2011 despite the devastating flooding which led to an economic contraction in the last quarter of the year. However, severe flooding in Greater Bangkok cut tollway usage on some routes that were located in or adjacent to the flooded area. To support flood‐affected drivers, the government asked some tollway operators to exempt toll fees between October and November 2011.

ในปี 2554 หุ้นกู้ภาคเอกชนที่ออกใหม่ในประเทศไทยมีมูลค่ารวมทั้งสิ้น 254,203 ล้านบาท ลดลง 3.7% จากปี 2553 ซึ่งมีมูลค่าเท่ากับ 263,969 ล้านบาท ภาคธุรกิจของไทยที่ออกหุ้นกู้ในปี 2554 มากที่สุดคือภาคพลังงาน รองลงมาได้แก่ ธุรกิจเกษตรและอาหาร และธนาคารพาณิชย์ เป็นต้น

ทริสเรทติ้งมองอุปสงค์ที่อยู่อาศัยที่ชะลอตัว ประกอบกับความไม่แน่นอนของพฤติกรรมผู้บริโภคที่เปลี่ยนแปลงหลังวิกฤติอุทกภัยยิ่งเพิ่มความเสี่ยงให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการอสังหาริมทรัพย์ที่มีภาระหนี้สูงและมีสัดส่วนโครงการแนวราบจำนวนมาก โดยทริสเรทติ้งได้ปรับเปลี่ยนแนวโน้มอันดับเครดิตของผู้ประกอบการ 4 ราย ได้แก่ บริษัท ปริญสิริ จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท พร็อพเพอร์ตี้ เพอร์เฟค จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท พฤกษา เรียลเอสเตท จำกัด (มหาชน) และ บริษัท ควอลิตี้ เฮ้าส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) เป็น “Negative” หรือ “ลบ” จากเดิม “Stable” หรือ “คงที่”

ธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวและบริการ: ประเทศไทยกำลังเผชิญกับลมปะทะที่รุนแรง

แนวโน้มการท่องเที่ยวของไทยอ่อนแอลง โดยคาดการณ์ว่าจะมีนักท่องเที่ยว 33.1 ล้านคนในปี 2568 ลดลง 7% โดยในช่วง 7 เดือนแรกของปี จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวจีนลดลง 33% แต่นักท่องเที่ยวจากอินเดียและตลาดระยะไกลอาจช่วยบรรเทาปัญหาได้บ้าง แต่รายรับจากนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติอาจลดลง 5% และโรงแรมอาจเผชิญกับแรงกดดันด้านราคา ดังนั้น ผู้ประกอบการที่มีโรงแรมในต่างประเทศด้วยมีแนวโน้มจะมีความแข็งแกร่งกว่าผู้ประกอบการที่ต้องพึ่งพาตลาดไทย
